Convention Exhibits

The power is within us to have fun each and every day of this convention. Before the convention ends and all the exhibitors pack up, be sure to stop by all the booths. Many feature free food, candy, informational packets and great opportunities to expand both students' and teachers' horizons.

The power is within us to develop positive relationships. There are many booths showcasing educational opportunities located throughout the convention halls. Numerous universities and colleges have exhibits for students to explore educational opportunities. There are benefits to researching educational prospects now, including having the change to speak with students and advisers of those educational booths.

The power is within us to work efficiently toward our goals, and many chapter goals include fundraising. Fundraising sponsors are showcasing their ideas of great money-making projects. Many of them also offer free samples of their edible items. One fundraising booth, Plants for Profits Fundraiser, provides flower variety mixtures in the spring, chrysanthemums in the fall and poinsettias in the winter.

The power is within us to look and feel fashionable. Spread throughout the convention hall, these booths are favorites for many girls and guys as they offer shirts, sparkling belts and jewelry. Bunnies and Bows encourages feeling great with their unique pillows and pillowcases. Southern Jewlz, for instance, hopes to make every girl “feel like a princess." Owned by past FFA member Randa Yezak, Southern Jewlz has partnered with DRIVE to offer a free subscription of DRIVE magazine with purchases of $50 or more.

The power is within us to explore and grow as we are introduced to new options and activities. There are exhibits hosted by generous FFA sponsors and exhibits located outside of the convention hall. Deltapine, a cotton company, is one of the exhibits located outside of the convention hall. The company offers a video contest about the importance and uses of cotton. The top five winners will receive a cash donation and the top two winners will have their videos posted on television once the scholarship closes. Other important FFA related booths include VATAT, Texas FFA Alumni and the FFA Store.

Before heading back home, experience the great things all of the booths have to offer!

xx
