On Tuesday, October 11, 2011 the State Fair of Texas will host the 3rd annual Ag Awareness Day event! There will be a food drive benefitting the North Texas Food Bank and the AgriQuest competition in addition to new contests being held. 

Last year's event was a record-breaker in both attendance and pounds of food collected. 2011 marks the 125th Anniversary of the State Fair of Texas, so imagine the impact if each and every chapter attending brought at least 125 pounds of food! Every youth member in attendance for any chapter bringing at least 125 pounds of food will receive a commemorative gift. The State Fair of Texas started September 30 and will go through October 23, 2011.
