Texas FFA President Blake Vineyard and First Vice President Tyler Reiley traveled and visited businesses in North Texas to share the Texas FFA’s story and learn more about the natural resources of the area.

The officers visited the NBC affiliate KFDX TV3 and were guests of Mike Campbell, former Rider FFA agricultural teacher and Henrietta ISD school board member, on Texoma Country morning. The officers also visited 1290 News Talk Radio and were guests on Rise & Shine with Campbell and Joe Tom White, who founded Rider FFA.

Also, the officers were joined by McDonald’s Corporation Executive Dr. Justin Ransom, who is a former Texas FFA officer and USDA under secretary of agriculture specializing in red meat.

While in Dallas, the officers visited Luminant Energy and met with Tommy Neyland, current Dallas Host Committee member.

During the week long business tour, officers also met with Glenn Barham about leading a city and strategic planning of natural resources, as well as J.T. Barrett, Ohio State University quarterback.

Vineyard and Reiley visited Priefert Manufacturing in Mount Pleasant, Texas. Former FFA State President and current Vice President of Marketing Jeff Rash, along with President Eddie Priefert, hosted the officers for a day.
