Patricia Ward, former Texas FFA member from the James Madison FFA chapter, has been selected as the summer intern for the Texas FFA Association.

Ward is studying agricultural communications at Texas A&M University and currently writes for the Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communications News. She just finished her junior year and hopes to find a career in magazine writing upon graduation. Ward says that the highlight of her FFA experience was being able to participate in the AgriScience Fair, and that she is excited to be living in Austin, TX and working to give back to the Association this summer.

As the summer intern Patricia will gain exposure to a wide variety of Texas FFA programming. During May and June she will assist with the execution of the Texas FFA Scholarship selection process, as well as begin work on the Texas FFA Convention Program. She will help to notify award winners for the State FFA Convention and provide necessary assistance to conduct the State FFA Convention in July. Please help us in welcoming Particia Ward to Texas Team Ag Ed.
