Last month Texas FFA President Ryon Cox and First Vice President Shelby Eckhardt visited businesses across the state of Texas to share the Texas FFA story and learn more about the natural resources of the various areas.
The officers kicked-off their tour with a stop in Mount Pleasant to visit Priefert Manufacturing. The following day they traveled to Lubbock to visit with Jeff Lansdell, the President of CEV Multimedia, and Dan Taylor with the American Museum of Agriculture.
After concluding their stay in the panhandle, the duo traveled south to Dallas/Fort Worth. Their first stop in central Texas was at Cinnamon Creek Ranch in Roanoke, where they received a tour from general manager, Joey Musacchio.
Cox and Eckhardt then journeyed to Irving to meet with the leadership at Allflex. They had the privilege of sitting down with Glenn Fischer, Sr. Vice President, Donna James, Marketing and Commercial Service and Brian Bolton, President and CEO.
While in Irving, the officers visited the La Quinta Corporate Headquarters and presented long-time Texas FFA supporter, Wayne Goldberg, President and CEO, with a pair of custom Texas FFA Justin boots.
The traveling team concluded this year’s business and industry tour in Fort Worth at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. The two officers were able to visit with staff, including President and General Manager, Brad Barnes.
