Over 12,000 Texas FFA members and guests will flood the streets of downtown Fort Worth for the 86th Annual Texas FFA Convention, July 14-18.
Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price and Dr. John Avila, Host Committee Chair, graciously welcomed the Texas FFA to Fort Worth at the official ribbon cutting, July 15.
The first session kicked off as members from across the state filed into the convention hall, excited to see the events of the day and what they would be learning while attending. Members saw further in depth of what this years message, “I Can” truly means and received hints as to what the other sessions will consist of.
The First Annual Texas FFA Foundation 5K also marked the beginning of a successful convention with over 600 participants waking up early in the morning to run for a good cause.
The very popular Convention Expo opened its doors to members and guests with over 120 booths and shops to explore. Along with shopping, many colleges, foundations and businesses have set up to inform visitors on what they have to offer.
Texas FFA’s convention has a variety of things to experience for any and all members and guests. From exciting events to educational opportunities provided by the sessions, this year’s convention offers chances to ignite attendees passion for the blue and gold.
