The Texas Ag Ed Family will be hosting the 2nd Annual Agricultural Education and Texas FFA “Day at the Capitol” on Tuesday, February 22nd, 2011. The day will include a scavenger hunt, tour of the capitol, workshops addressing the legislative process in Texas, “Day at the Capitol” t-shirts, and many more fun and engaging opportunities.
FFA members and advisors will also have a chance to schedule visits with their state representative and state senator to showcase their local programs.
Planning guides and suggestions will be provided at a later date.
Registration will open on December 15th. Advisors will be emailed more information soon.
